REWORK OF THE WEBSITE
We expanded visual styles to attract a wider audience and emphasized Volta's advantages with detailed explanations and videos. Furthermore, we introduced customized post-download instructions to suit various user scenarios.
REDESIGN ON THE ONBOARDING
Previously, our one-size-fits-all Onboarding solution didn't cater to the diverse needs of our users. We redesigned it to be uniform with slight variations based on each user's specific use case and setup, aiming to minimize conversion friction.
CREATION OF TUTORIALS
We created a series of easy-to-follow tutorials in text and video form, which users could access from different points of the flow.
Hypothesis
Artists are interested in Volta but are having many technical and non-technical barriers when trying to start using Volta.

Process
DISCOVERY
After launch of our MVP, we looked at the analytics and made a usr research to find out that users were having troubles getting through the first part of the user funnel.
FINDINGS
Users failed to see Volta's value and benefits.
Individuals with lower-quality computers downloaded Volta.
Users neglected to install or open Volta post-download.
Firewalls marked Volta as hazardous.
Extended load times led to confusion about whether Volta was still loading.
Users encountered setup difficulties with Volta due to varying software and hardware.
IDEATION
Redesign of the website and app to simplify user navigation and understanding of Volta, adding enhanced content and onboarding.
VALIDATION
We sent a Prototype out to 10 of our users to validate our designs.

Volta is a desktop App for musicians to help them create immersive and interactive visual experiences in just minutes.
Challenge
Our ads effectively attracted many visitors to our website, but converting them to active Volta users was hindered by unclear technical requirements, configuration difficulties, uncertain benefits of Volta, and firewall settings issues.
